Project UNIV2 Regions

Our school has been chosen to take part in the project of UNIV2 – REGIONS called “Transformation of Schools into Lifelong Learning Centres” in the period of 2009–2013. It is a national project of the Ministry of School, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic. It is managed by the National Institution of Technical and Vocational Education and financed by the European Social Fund and by the state budget of the Czech Republic. 325 secondary schools from 13 regions of the Czech Republic have been participating in the project. These schools will serve as a basis of the network of schools – lifelong education centres. The aim is to react to the needs of people and to provide them with further education, leading to the change of or receiving new qualification. The school has both qualified employees and needed equipment to participate in the project succesfully.
